At home and first doctors visit

4. Great Aunt Jackie and Great Uncle Fred came by on their way home from Mobile to visit!

We got to come home from the hospital on Sunday. We had a really good experience at the hospital, but almost 4 days there was enough for all of us. We are really happy to be home. Our first night was a little rough, but last night we were much more organized and I think things went a lot more smoothly. Hopefully we will continue to have nights like last night!

In the hospital they told us that Brooks was a little jaundice so we had to take him to the pediatrician the day after we got home (Monday) so they could check and see how he was doing. His jaundice levels are going down, so we are on the home stretch and he has gained back his birth weight plus an ounce so he is 6 lbs 11 oz now! Yay!

After we got home from the Doctor Grandmommy (Kevin's mom) came over to hang out with me and Brooks while Kevin went to our house to try and get some stuff done with our home renovation project. While we have a lot going on with a new baby, we still have to get stuff done with the house so we can eventually move in. Hopefully after this week all the demo work will be done and then people can start putting it back together for us!
