Wow how the time flies. Brooks is now 6 months old. He continues to amaze me every day. Brooks continues to be such a happy baby. He just smiles and giggles all the time. He is also rolling and rolling and rolling. He can't crawl, but he can get where he wants to go by rolling there. I have to really keep my eye on him now for sure! He also really enjoys being on his belly. He rolls onto his belly all the time to play and even prefers to sleep on his belly. When we lay him down in his crib he immediately rolls onto his side or tummy to sleep. Who would have thought!? Brooks also loves to jump in the jumperoo and the jumpy thing that hangs in the door frame.
Brooks has finally gotten the hang of eating baby food. He now eats cereal, peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, and apples.
Brooks is 21 pounds now and his infant carrier only goes to 22 pounds, so we figured it was time to move him up to his convertible car seat. We got a great deal on the Britax Boulevard thanks to a tip from Volree and he had his first ride in it on his 6 month birthday. The car seat is so big I can't believe he is ready for it. Brooks LOVED being in his carrier and does not like the new car seat nearly as much, but I know he will get used to it soon.
